Welcome to the Beaver Colony

Beavers came back to Scouting just raring to go in September. We welcomed Greg as Assistant Beaver Scout Leader. Greg is an experienced leader with varied skills and interests and will be an
excellent addition to our Scout Group. With our existing Beavers on the register and seven more that joined after half term, Beavers is still thriving, with more children on the waiting list!

The Beavers have been very busy already. With the excellent organisational skills of the leaders they have chosen a wide range of both indoor and outdoor activities. The boys and girl enjoyed building their Bivvi buildings down in Bourne Copse, and although the weather was dreadful it added to the ex erien e and they all came back smiling.

Also arranged were activities for Halloween fun, fireworks & a sausage sizzle night.

The Beavers are working towards three badges this term. The Experiment badge, Air activities badge and Creative badge.

We had a great fun night with a visit from PCSO Fitzcosta who spoke to the Beavers and gave them all the chance of a life time to sit in the police car with the sirens on and lights flashing!
