Scout Group
Welcome to the 1st Virginia water Scout Group Website.
Our Scout Group is bsed in Virginia Water in Surrey.
We have a full set of sections details for each are below:
Beaver Scouts (Ages 6 to 8)
Meeting Day:
Wednesdays
Meeting Time: 6pm to 7:15pm
Cub Scouts (Ages 8 to 10)
Meeting Day:
Mondays
Meeting Time: 6:15pm to 8pm
Scouts (Ages 10 to 15)
Meeting Day:
Thursdays
Meeting Time: 7:15pm to 9:15pm
We operate equal oppertunitues policy and all are welcome. There is a regular subscription that covers our operating costs and the operation of the Scout Association. We do not make a profit and all Leaders and
Helpers in the group are volunteers. Out of pocket expences are reimbursed.
We follow the rules and regulations of the Scout Association, as part of this all the leaders and helpers are required to complete an enhanced criminal records check. We also ask all parents to complete this check, though it is not a requirement of your children joining, however if this is not completed we will not be able to offer the parents any involvement in our active and enjoyable group.
We are a uniformed organisation. Each group has its own scarf colours ours is Gold with a Purple Border. More detials can be found on the scout association website at: www.scouts.org.uk
